Franz Schlegelberger

Louis Rudolph Franz Schlegelberger was State Secretary in the German Reich Ministry of Justice and served a while as Justice Minister during the Third Reich. He was the highestranking defendant at the Judges Trial in Nuremberg.

Schlegelberger was born into a Protestant salesmans family in Knigsberg. His father worked in cereal trade sales.
